MANY PARISHIONERS TOOK TIME TO ATTEND SERVICES DURING HOLY WEEK. ST. ANTHONY HAD A BIGGER CROWD THAN WE DID DURING THE PAST YEARS. WE HAD OVER 1,500 PEOPLE ATTENDING THROUGHOUT HOLY WEEK. WHAT CAN THE PARISH DO TO GET MORE PEOPLE TO ATTEND NEXT YEAR? LET ME KNOW. FR. JACK

  1. I know some other churches have success in attracting young couples to attend masses by offering a Sunday School Children's program. The children attend part of the mass, then leave for a portion, then return for the end. Or maybe do something else to get the children involved in those longer masses - similar to Fr. Jack telling the story to the children on Christmas Eve. It seems to be working for those churches. Just a thought.

Also, extending a personal invitation for people who are parishioners but may not be regular attendees. Sometimes people are afraid to sit alone & if they know they can sit by family or friends, they may be more willing to come.
